Katherine Lea Miller graduated magna cum laude with the Class of 2016 from Bucknell University. During her time at Bucknell, she studied Art, Art History, Theatre and Entrepreneurship and shared her passion for the arts with everyone she encountered. After graduation, Kate moved to New York City to work at a company founded by a fellow Bucknellian where she continued to maintain the wonderful connections and beautiful friendships she had established during her time on campus. Our beloved Katherine Lea was taken to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 19 2019 .
Our goal is to raise gift funds for the naming rights of a classroom art studio in a newly constructed building which will include the Art & Art History Department. We aim to use this opportunity to honor Kate’s memory in a beautiful and tangible way at Bucknell, where she cherished every moment.
Our hope is that one day, future Bucknell students will be inspired to pursue their passion for the arts in a space dedicated to Katherine’s memory.
